Stopping and Seeing

It's so easy to get caught up. When that happens -- and you notice it happening -- just stop. Bring your attention to you. Take a breath. Hear your heartbeat. Feel your pulse. Sense that non-existent permanent self in the non-existent time and space continuum that is the ever-present here and now.

Sometimes what's here is my own stuff. Mostly what's here is by other people who share and think and do and create wonderful, provocative stuff. Life. Art. Curiosity. Love.

And then there's writing and words and meditation and mindfulness and living.
